PampaManda is a beauty salon, located in the front room of Pear Tree Cottage, Main Street. It was set up by Bernice Blackstock in 2014, as Beauty & Bernice who hired Kerry Wyatt when she was impressed with her work. Laurel Thomas did a few trial shifts but then stopped when the village found out about her drink problem.
The salon originally started out as both rooms of Pear Tree Cottage, but was soon divided as Leyla Harding and Megan Macey wanted to use the back room for their new business, Take A Vow. Since the beginning of the business, there have been a few memorable moments, Bernice offering to give Andy Sugden a spray tan and telling him to take his clothes off in June 2014, and Bernice giving Katie Sugden an allergic reaction to one of her creams in August 2014. It was eventually revealed that it was Bernice's daughter Gabby's fault. Between June 2015 and February 2016, Kerry uploaded multiple YouTube videos at the salon under the name Kerry's Make-up Hacks.
In November 2019, Mandy Dingle was hired as assistant beautician at the salon. Not long after, Bernice left the business in Kerry's hands, as she had to leave the village for Australia to support her daughter after her father suffered a horrifying accident. In October 2020, Bernice - who'd remained in Australia following the breakdown of her relationship with Liam Cavanagh - sold up and Mandy bought the salon using money loaned to her by boyfriend Paul Ashdale. Mandy renamed the business "PampaManda", a name which was widely mocked in the village.
