Pru Annersley is the daughter of David Annersley. Pru and David arrived on a "holiday" to Beckindale in September 1978 but this turned out to be so David could see Annie Sugden. Pru ended up falling for Joe Sugden but Nicky Groves warned her off him. Regardless, Pru still met with Joe and Joe told her about Miffield Hall being sold, and Pru considers asking David if he's interested. Pru unknowingly began an affair with Nicky, and when Nicky revealed he was married, Pru became confused on how she should feel.
