Reg Dawson

Reg Dawson is the first husband of Viv Hope and father of Scott Windsor.

Reg, who abandoned Scott and Viv early in Scott's life, arrives in Emmerdale in May 1994 when he commits a robbery which turns into a siege at Home Farm. He kills one of his henchmen, and Shirley Turner, who died after receiving a bullet intended for Viv. Reg's other henchman Colin Long gives himself up. Reg is then shot dead by a police marksman. In his will, he leaves Viv several thousand pounds, but a stipulation said she had to leave her current husband, Vic Windsor, to receive the money. She declines and stays with Vic.

Joe Sugden, 24th May 1994 - Reg attempted to shoot Joe and shot Alan Turner instead.
Colin Long, 7th June 1994 - Attempted to shoot Colin when he gave himself up
Viv Windsor, 7th June 1994 - Tried to shoot Viv, however Shirley moved in front of Viv, taking the bullet.
