An unnamed Scrapman dropped a van full of scrap off at Wishing Well Cottage in September 1996. Zak Dingle hoped to make £50 for the scrap but he realised it could be worth more when he found a full drum kit had been dumped. Zak lied to the scrapman that the washing machine had fallen on his son Butch's foot so offered the scrapman £20 for the van load and said he wouldn't press any charges for Butch's injury.
