Sean Rossi was a chef who worked at The Old School Tearooms in 1996. He befriended the owner Kathy Tate. When Kathy's brother Nick Bates killed a poacher, Jed Connell, Jed's relative Sidney Connell terrorised Kathy until Sean threatened Sidney into backing off. Sean and Kathy had a brief relationship which ended and Kathy got with Dave Glover whilst Sean left the village in September 1996. He returned in January 1997 after Dave was killed in a fire at Home Farm on Christmas 1996. In January 1997, Sean tried to make a go of things with Kathy again, but was told to leave by Kathy, so he then left the village for good.
