The unnamed Security Guard caught Brenda Walker shoplifting from the Vidion Electrical store in January 2014. Brenda slipped an MP3 player into another customer's pocket in the hope of causing a distraction for when she finally made her move in stealing another device. As the other customer set the store alarm off, Brenda took her moment and swiftly left with the stolen MP3 player. However, she was terrified when she was caught out by the security guard. Explaining to him about the recent trauma of her brain tumour and the murder of her daughter by Cameron Murray, the security guard sympathised with her as she was unable to explain why she had taken the item. He spoke to his boss was unable to prevent prosecution and the police arrived to lead Brenda away.
