Skipdale Bridge is a bridge in Emmerdale. The historic bridge was badly damaged in a plane crash in December 1993 after wreckage from the plane hit it. Josh Lewis was about to drive over the bridge when he noticed a burst water main, and the bridge was damaged. He alerted Jack Sugden and Frank Tate who laid some water pipes and put gravel and metal sheets over the pipes as a temporary repair so that the emergency services could get through.
