Skipdale Women's Prison is a prison in Skipdale that many of the female Emmerdale villagers go when they are sentenced to time in prison.
Charity Dingle was in Skipdale Women's Prison after being sentenced to two years for perverting the course of justice in January 2015. She was released early in February 2016.
Liv Flaherty was arrested and sentthere after wrongfully being charged with Ben Tucker's murder in December 2021. However, she was released in late January 2022.
In February 2022, Meena Jutla is charged and arrested for the murders of Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker, the attempted murders of Victoria Sugden and Leyla Cavanagh, possession of an unregulated firearm, the kidnap, false imprisonment and attempted murders of Manpreet Sharma and Vinny Dingle, the kidnap and false imprisonment of Billy Fletcher and Dawn Fletcher, and was further arrested for assaulting Harriet Finch, and was sent to Skipdale Women's Prison. In April 2022, Meena was sentenced to 75 years imprisonment.
