Sookie was an employee of a multimedia agency that Home Farm Estate employed to work on their website launch in late Spring 2017.
Chrissie White and her teenage son Lachlan took Sookie and her colleague to The Woolpack where Chrissie took a photo of Lachlan and Sookie in front of Lachlan's friend Belle Dingle to make her jealous. Later, Chrissie commented how well Sookie and Lachlan got on. Lachlan pretended he was going on a date with Sookie but Belle soon rumbled Lachlan who admitted to faking the date because he had feelings for her. Belle admitted that she also had feelings for him, but not after that.
