Stuart St Paul is an award-winning director and stunt co-ordinator. He is the consulatant on many of Emmerdale's major and minor stunts, including the Plane Crash, and also played Simmy in 1994. He has also worked on a few Emmerdale spin-off films, as well as other TV shows Coronation Street, Casualty, The Bill and Mrs Browns Boys.
Stuart has also appeared an extra in the show. In the Plane Crash, Stuart stood on the left by the wine bar when it explodes.
He is the father of actress Laura Aikman.
