Is there a point in having six categories for garage employees? As it's one business that's been know by many names, would it not be better just to have one category? Plus, a lot of the mechanics are assigned to the wrong categories. Aks6609 (talk) 23:04, August 4, 2018 (UTC)

I thought it may be better to treat it as six different companies which have been trading in the same building but as some mechanics are assigned to the wrong categories it may be better to merge them all into one. Also apologies about that, I was adding them from memory, probably not the best idea so late at night... Danielroxheaps 23:07, August 4, 2018 (UTC)
It does get confusing with so many names plus it doesn't help that a lot of the links to the garage are mixed up in the episode pages (using a name for the garage when it was known as another at that time. IDK if that makes sense.). Aks6609 (talk) 23:19, August 4, 2018 (UTC)
Yes it does, I'll fix that and mark the unnecessary categories for deletion. Danielroxheaps 00:10, August 5, 2018 (UTC)

Apart from 2012 when it was reopened as 'Dingle & Dingle', does anybody know the different points the name of the garage was changed? Trying to ascertain it for the location sections. It was sometime in 2007 that it became known as 'Windsor & Dingle', but I'm not sure when. Boushenheiser (talk) 22:06, September 13, 2019 (UTC)

  • Dingle Automotives? (1998-?)
  • Windsors (?-March 2005)
  • Windsor & Sugden (March 2005-2007)
  • Windsor & Dingle (2007-28th May 2010)
  • Dingle Automotives (28th May 2010-March 2012)
  • Dingle & Dingle Automotives (April 2012-16th July 2018)
  • Barton and Dingle Automotives (16th July 2018-)
Not sure when in 2007 the name change was, but I can try to find out tomorrow after I've done a few episode page plots. Aks6609 (talk) 00:27, September 14, 2019 (UTC)
