- Eric was born as Eric Pollock. In the 1980s, Eric left Eileen and changed his surname to Pollard (as he didn't want to divorce her) so she couldn't track him down. - Danielroxheaps 22:11, November 22, 2018 (UTC)
I cannot ever think of a time that it was said that Eric had a stillborn son prior to last night's episode. Eileen actually appeared in 1994 for a few episodes and nothing was ever said about a stillborn child. I thought Eric and Eileen only stayed together for a fcouple of years afer they married, and they had married 30 years prior to 1994, so married c1964. 1978 was 14 years later.
