Are you sure we shouldn't just merge this page with Walter (Episode 17/18) and Walter (Al Dixon) as, although played by different actors, they all seem to be 'a recurring old man character who regularly drinks at the Woolpack'. It would make sense if the character was intended to be recurring as Meadows White played him in 1972, Geoffrey Hooper between 1974 and 1980 and Al Dixon between 1980 and 1986. One of the pages has a 'not to be confused with...' note on it so I assume this has been investigated before. I just wanted to bring this up as I'm unsure. - Yes I talked this with Aks before creating the pages. She said to make them all separate for now. However, I feel that the Walter(s) played by Geoffrey Hooper and Al Dixon are very similar and Al took over from Geoffrey the same year so I'd say they are the same characters, and leave the first Walter as separate? - Yes, the second and third Walters being merged is a great idea. I'm still unsure about the first one at the minute. Like you say, keep the first one separate and if it is added to the other Walter in the future, so be it. TheCW 2018 (talk) 02:47, August 9, 2018 (UTC)
- The second and third Walters were both more background characters, appearing sporadically between 1974 and 1985, whereas the first Walter spoke and seemed more less in the background as the others. Danielroxheaps 09:20, August 9, 2018 (UTC)

I have merged the pages as due to Meadows White's death in 1973, and Walter next appearing in 1974, that these Walters were intended to be the same character - Danielroxheaps 09:06, October 22, 2018 (UTC)
