Emmerdale history[]

January 2005 - Max King and Amy Carter arrive to Emmerdale for Tom King's marriage to Charity Dingle, it was their intention to travel to Thailand after the wedding, but Max ended up staying in Emmerdale while Amy went to Cornwall to visit her parents. They promised to keep in touch but Max then deleted her number as soon as she left.
August 2008 - Lexi King goes to Thailand for her mother Carrie Nicholls' marriage to Nick Barrie.
24th August 2009 - Val Pollard calls her sister Diane Sugden telling her that she is in Thailand, when in fact she is hiding away at the The B&B.
23rd April 2015 - After being blackmailed by Chrissie White to stay out of their son Lachlan's life, Donny Cairn calls to tell him that he is moving to Thailand to look after his friend's bar.
30th August 2016 - Lachlan White considers flying to Thailand to live with his dad.
7th September 2017- Tracy Metcalfe decides she wants to go on holiday to Thailand but her husband David Metcalfe doesn't think they can afford it.
23rd August 2018 - Misty Allbright reveals that she's been offered a fire eating job in Thailand, and much to his daughters' disappointment, Rodney Blackstock decides to go with her.
24th August 2018 - After his daughter Bernice lies to her about his health, Misty dumps Rodney and leaves for Thailand without him.
