Trevor Thatcher was the first manager of Home Farm during the NY Estates years. He lived there with his wife Paula. He put up a lot of signs around the estate, saying "Private Property". This angered some locals, especially Sam Pearson. Trevor also planned to shake the village up and earn NY Estates money, and he planned to evict some elderly farmers from the farms they rented. Thankfully, Trevor's time at Home Farm was short lived when he was sacked in November 1978 for costing the Toll Lane Fish Farm a lot of money after many of the fish died. Trevor and Paula then left the village. Trevor was replaced by Maurice Westrop who was a reasonable man.
