United States of America is the 4th largest country in the world.
America has been mentioned on Emmerdale on many occasions including:
- Joe Sugden going to America in 1980.
- Bob Hope's ex-wife Vonda Lockhart, living there along with their daughter Roxy Lockhart.
- Kelly Windsor leaving son Elliot Windsor with his dad Jimmy King whilst she goes to America with a boyfriend. Kelly later took Elliot to live in America with her.
- Paddy Kirk going to America for a course.
