Whiteley's Farm was a house belonging to the Whiteley family. In 1989, Bill Whiteley was considering selling the house to Alan Turner, but his son Pete convinced him that he and his wife Lynn could run the place. Pete died in August 1990 and Bill passed away in the house in July 1991, leaving Lynn to live in the house alone. Lynn gave birth to baby Peter Whiteley in October 1990 and they lived in Whiteley's Farm. However, the house was burnt down in December 1993 when a plane crashed on the village. Lynn was drinking at The Woolpack and the babysitter took Peter outside to see what the noise was, right before burning debris fell on the house, setting it ablaze. At the same time, Mark Hughes was killed by a falling wall when he went to return a vacuum cleaner. The house was never rebuilt.
